Klinsmann to help Euro 2008 co-hosts Austria

Former Germany coach Jurgen Klinsmann is to meet Andreas Herzog, assistant manager of Euro 2008 co-hosts Austria, to offer advice, the 1990 World Cup winning striker said.
“I will happily meet Andreas and exchange information,” said Klinsmann, who led hosts Germany to third place at this year’s World Cup.
“But there is no question that I will give him private information about German players.”
“Jurgen is going to advise me on his ideas for training and preparation,” said Herzog, who played with Klinsmann at Bayern Munich and Los Angeles Galaxy.
Herzog, 38, is Austria’s most capped player (103) and is assitant to national team coach Josef Hickersberger.
Austria are jointly staging the 2008 European Championships with Switzerland.
